Intercultural analysis requires both – the frog’s and the bird’s eye perspective
Intercultural analyses and intercultural research are the major components of our profile. Our Credo is that intercultural research should not confine itself to the lowest common denominator of the countries and cultures being researched. Instead, when we conduct and analyse a research project of this kind we take account of the country-specific data as well as of the general structures and the larger picture.
This is why in international projects we attach great importance to dialectical thinking and procedures:
- On the one hand, there are our local research associates who will open the doors to their own culture, which makes them indispensible cultural experts for us.
- On the other hand, we as the coordinating researchers will see the larger picture, maintain the bird’s eye perspective and involve several cultures at the same time.
Our services include the coordination of your international projects. We choose the appropriate institutes locally, brief our moderators and supervise their fieldwork. In that way, you’ll benefit from our many years of working together with research institutes and moderators on the ground. – Based on country-specific analyses, which include the assessments by our local moderators and researchers, we produce an overview for you that will neither neglect culture-specific findings nor lose sight of the overall perspective.
